COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT
Recording
Superstar Jason Aldean Headlines International Contingent to Play in
Front of Capacity Australian Audience in March 2016

Brisbane QLD, AUS / Nashville, TN, USA – Feb. 11, 2016:   Rob Potts, Entertainment Edge, and Chugg Entertainment announced today that the 2016 CMC Rocks QLD
Country Music Festival, to be held in Queensland, Australia, March
11-13, 2016 has sold out of all tickets.  This is Australian music
history in the making as it is the first country music festival to have
ever sold out in Australia.

This year’s festival has some of the biggest names in country music
charts going to Australia, with ACM “Entertainer of the Year” nominee Jason Aldean
being this year’s festival headliner. RIAA’s top digital country male
artist of all time has headlined stadiums in The States and will
continue the momentum when playing in front of a capacity crowd in
Queensland. His “most ambitious album to date” (Associated Press) OLD BOOTS NEW DIRT has been certified PLATINUM and has yielded three consecutive number one hits.

“I’ve heard Australians know how to have a good time,” said Aldean. “I
have been looking forward to heading down under, but to hear it’s sold
out already without ever playing Australia is really cool. We’re going
to be sure those fans are talking about our show until the next time we
make it over!”

Other big international names performing this year include Florida Georgia Line,
Brantley Gilbert, Kelsea Ballerini, Cam, Kip Moore and
more.  They will be joined by some of Australia’s most successful and
exciting country music stars during the three day country music
festival.

“We started this festival 9 years ago with a real belief that if we
could deliver an exciting format and world’s best festival standards and
practices, Australian and indeed, country fans from across the world,
would come out and support the event,” says festival promoter Rob Potts.
“We have seen the festival evolve and grow, and the move last year to
Willowbank near Ipswich in Queensland was the final piece in its
evolution to maximum SOLD OUT capacity. It is truly exciting to be
making music history with the first ever sold out country music festival
in Australia. We look forward to delivering many more great local and
International line-ups as CMC Rocks Aussie country music for many years
to come.”

“We’re thrilled to announce that for the first time in the festivals history, CMC Rocks has
completely sold out. We couldn’t have achieved this incredible
milestone without the support and loyalty of passionate country music
lovers from across Australia and New Zealand and thank them for their
on-going support,” says promoter Matthew Lazarus Hall of Chugg
Entertainment.  “We look forward to hosting some of the biggest names in
country music next month and putting on one of the best country music
festivals Australia has ever experienced.”

From the first incarnation of the festival in 2008, CMC Rocks
has grown and evolved to become the key event on the Australian country
music calendar.  Attracting the biggest global names in country music
over the last nine years and now one of Australia’s most recognized
annual music events, audience numbers have kept growing year after
year.  Massive international stars from Taylor Swift to Alan Jackson,
Tim McGraw to Lady Antebellum, have traveled from the other side of the
world to headline the festival, and lineups have seen the Aussie debuts
of both legends and rising stars.

Preceding the festival on the evening of the 10th March, 2016 will be Foxtel’s 6th Annual CMC Music Awards,
the only viewer voted country music awards in the southern hemisphere.
It will be held at QPAC Brisbane and broadcast LIVE on Foxtel’s Country
Music Channel (‘CMC’) at 8.30pm AEDT. The awards will feature a
star-studded lineup including performances by Jason Aldean, Florida
Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, and Australian artist Adam Harvey.  It
is hosted by CMC Rocks ambassador and Australian country superstar
Morgan Evans.

CMC Rocks QLD 2016
will be held on Fri March 11 – Sun March 13,
over three days and nights in Ipswich, Queensland. Located within a one
hour drive from Brisbane and Gold Coast domestic and international
airports, the site allows for fantastic camping and glamping and a
variety of travel options for festival goers as well as added
