Christian Masser from Graz is better known to insiders as a blues musician. But with this second country CD he is committed to his youth idol Johnny Cash. His music never let go of him and you can call him a fan from the very beginning. In his latest CD “Cool Water” a song from Bob Nolan, however, he not only summarizes Cash songs but also carefully selected country classics. He attaches great importance to the fact that the songs also match his bass voice and sings only solo to his own accompaniment on his acoustic guitar.

The stories that are told here are about prison, broken hearts, lonely men and pain. Christian Masser creates a campfire atmosphere with his timbre.  Lean back, close your eyes and enjoy.
