Charles Parker Releases Lyric Video to Upcoming Single, “Say Goodbye”

Charles Parker has released a lyric video for his upcoming release, “Say Goodbye” via premiers on both YouTube and Facebook Video
Thursday Dec.13. The song is a follow up to his single “Party Girls.”
available on all digital music platforms for streaming and download

“The song is about saying goodbye to someone whether you have to or
don’t necessarily want to, in hopes that it may all work out in the
end,” said Charles Parker. “The lyrics mirror the saying that refers to
the statement that If you love someone, set them free and if they return
they are yours.”



In a recent interview by Think Country it is written
“I’ve talked to a lot of country artists and they’ve all had unique
stories, but when it came to Charles Parker, he brought a whole new bag
of tricks to our interview.  He’s definitely not a one-trick pony,”
stated journalist, Patti McClinitic. “He’s been around the block quite a
few times. In fact, he’s been around SEVERAL different blocks in many
different neighborhoods, musically speaking, that is.”

Charles Parker Bio:

Born and raised in Baltimore Maryland, Charles Parker
started life as a very shy kid. “My Mom bought me my first guitar when I
was about 10 yrs old. Inspired by his family Charles Parker grew up
listening to  Elvis, Johnny Cash Motown, Chicago to Three Dog Night. As a
young boy he had the reruns on television of The Partridge Family &
Monkees, loved the 70’s pop stars such as The Bay City Rollers and as
he entered his teens, Judas Priest and Kiss which lead to Iron Maiden.
As he settled into adulthood, the introduction of the great sounds of
country music like Alan Jackson, Vince Gill & Garth Brooks which
brought him full circle. The combination makes Charles Parker a triple
threat, who not only can sing and play guitar but also writes on a level
far above most of his peers. His unique music is a place where country,
folk and rock cross paths on the way to a remarkably contemporary
sound. Through his work being a professional musician in cover bands and
tribute bands, Parker is a seasoned performer who is known for his
strong work ethic, passion for music and determination to persevere.
With his over 20 years of experience, the journey continues through the
release of his new single “Party Girls”. Parker’s debut album as a solo
artist, Bring Back The Sun, featured a sound that is big yet stripped
down with infectious melodies and catchy hooks. Parker released his
first single to Country radio in Sept 2017 “Bring back the Sun ” which
charted at #81 on the Country Music Breakout Chart. Recorded in
Nashville throughout 2017-2018 with some of the best session players,
”Party Girls” was released to Country radio in April 2018 and moved up
the Music Row Country Breakout Chart to #73. Parkers next single,  “Say
Goodbye” will be released early 2019.
