Little Miss Runner Up 3:24

It’s
Thanksgiving here in the United States which usually means a whole lot of
family around and mostly the annoying cliché conversations that go along with
them. Luckily for me, I can barricade myself in my office and pretend I have to
get some work done; The headphones blaring and the laptop open can silence any
group of children running around screaming or the arguments that come with
political discussions. I’ll just hit the play button:

This
single is very strong, hard, whatever you want to call it. Reminds me of Heart,
or Pat Benatar. It has those power riffs and a heavy drumbeat. Actually, the
beginning makes me feel like singing I Love Rock & Roll, by Joan
Jett and the Blackhearts. I was hoping for something a bit more mellow, not the
“Girl Power. Roar” that comes along with this single. I guess if you
enjoy that slyle of music you’ll enjoy this. It’s well produced, a definite
musical talent, good vocals, alright lyrics I just can’t say that I like it. If
you enjoy the bands that I mentioned or that sound than it’s for you. For me, I
still have eight hours to hide out so I’ll move on to the next band and album.
