Recorded
as an audio when she was just 13, the song now has her own video-version too.

This
looks like the journey of her life. 

As
twin-guitars drive through overdriven valves on the intro, a tight 8 beat sees
you through hand in hand with the rounded-bass.

 The verse has the drums on a humble-economic
kick and hat pattern with a bass held long enough to support the charming
voice. 

She
sings of a memory where she met her classmate at second grade. A few years
later a kiss on a double-dare and a night at the county-fair. She recalls the
band had a steel-guitar. 

The
full-blown chorus is an uplifting chorus in full backing by the band. 

As
she reminisces about things that could have been yet cherishes the fun-times
with her beloved.

Verse
two has beautiful harmony in intervals of sixths. The short bridge with moving
toms comes and goes like a ‘will-o-the-wisp’ on a country evening on the
marshes. The tom-toms carry on into the pre-chorus to build up the chorus for
the last time with a sigh that leaves you wanting for more.

The
young lady has got a distinctive character to her voice and as you listen the
innocence grows on you.

The
breakdown on the Coda is a dying woah-woah, maybe regret that things could have
turned out differently.

from West Jefferson, NC, Taylon Hope nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge
Mountains but now makes her home in Music City, Nashville, TN. 

Inspired
by the likes of the great Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood, Martina
McBride and many other stars, Taylon
Hope values her roots and believes in being who you are and country is who she
is!  

It
was with great enthusiasm and charisma that she opened up shows for the likes
of Shenandoah, T. Graham Brown, Suzy Bogguss, Adam Crabb, and of late in Kansas
she set the stage on fire before Ned LeDoux, son of Chris LeDoux took over. She
has played at the famous Bluebird Cafe, The Listening Room, The Schermerhorn
Symphony Center, The Texas Troubadour Theatre, The Nashville Palace, John A’s,
and Puckett’s, all in Nashville, TN. 

Having
performed at The Lyric Theatre in Lexington, KY, MerleFest in Wilkesboro, NC
she is a regular guest and performer at WBTV Channel 3 in Charlotte, NC.

In
October of 2017, Taylon Hope’s dream came true that of performing on the
legendary stage of The Grand Ole Opry House at the tribute show for the great
Ralph Stanley. Just being on that stage was a fond-wish materializing for
Taylon as she is a great fan and supporter of The Grand Ole Opry and the
history of this legendary show.
