CD Review: CJ Solar – Coming My Way – by Preshias Harris for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

Solar’s new single starts right in
with thudding percussion that leads the way to Sothern rock guitars
that bring to mind guitar riffs from the likes of the Allman Brothers
and Lynyrd Skynyrd. This is a feel-good ‘party’ song with Solar
thinking (and singing) about all the good things that are coming his
way at the end of his work week: “Nothing to do and two off-days
coming my way.” It’s a driving, up-tempo country rocker that
makes the most of Solar’s unmistakable voice – a gritty blend of
outlaw country and Southern rock with a hint of Louisiana Cajun.
Solar is a successful songwriter having co-written songs recorded by
Jerrod Niemann, Justin Moore, Morgan Wallen and others. He co-wrote
“Coming My Way” with hit singer-songwriter Michael Hardy, and it
feels like it’s destined to be a Number One hit from the moment you
first hear it. Music and tour info at https://www.cjsolar.com/
