CD Review: Caylee Hammack – Preciatcha – by Preshias Harris for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

Caylee is a fresh, original voice in
Country music, and “Preciatcha” (Capitol Records) is more proof
that this young lady is an artist with a future. The song follows on
from “Family Tree,” Caylee’s breakout single that was the ‘most
added’ single at Country radio by a female artist in more than
three years. “Preciatcha” features clever word-play and witty
lyrics that put a positive spin on lessons learned from a broken
relationship. Caylee has said that her mother once told her that
every hand you hold is a lesson or a blessing, and “Preciatcha”
is about searching for a silver lining in a storm. The song draws on
influences as diverse as modern Country, pop, and Latin grooves to
create a positive and danceable melody with ‘earworm’ lyrics.
Co-written and co-produced by Hammack with Laura Veltz and Jordan
Schmidt, “Preciatcha” is set to add to her reputation as an
‘Artist to Watch’ (Rolling Stone magazine). Find the new
