Radio Heats Up With Carrie Zaruba’s Soulful Debut Country Single

Country’s
newest vocal vixen vagabond, Carrie Zaruba, is hitting radio this week
with her fun-loving and heartened debut single, Woman On A Mission. Music Programmers can now find the single on the latest CDX #556.

Born
and bred in Baltimore, MD, Carrie brings her soulful folk vocals to her
debut single while meshing them with a Nashville-style country flow. Woman On a Mission
captures a “if you can believe it, you can achieve it” attitude while
keeping its lighthearted and fun tune intact. While her voice flows
smoothly over the lyrics, guitar and drums punch out a captivating beat.
Woman On a Mission epitomizes what it means to go after your biggest dreams and reach for the stars.

After getting a kick start from her American Idol
Top 100 journey, Carrie is utilizing her extensive vocal training to
live up to her influences such as The Dixie Chicks, Little Big Town,
Stevie Nicks, and Patti Griffin. She’s currently teaming up with
Grammy-nominated Kent Wells, who has produced the likes of Dolly Parton
and Neal McCoy, to release her debut album in the spring of 2013. Her
rich musical education includes the renowned Baltimore School for the
Arts and rigorous classical vocal training as a Lyric Mezzo Soprano in a
conservatory setting. She has studied vocal performance in opera and
jazz at The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, completing the
Bachelors program in Music. With her unyielding confidence and a go get
‘em attitude, Carrie is here to open up her world to her listeners,
projecting a brilliant snapshot of strength, vulnerability and love.

Woman On a Mission
will be sure to rev up listeners as it blasts through with
unsurpassable confidence and energy. This debut tune will be making
waves in Music City as well as across the country with Carrie’s smooth
voice, country spin and solid drive. Continue to watch out for more from
