She’s been a country music megastar since she won the fourth season of
American Idol in 2005. But despite her five-time Grammy wins, her
multi-platinum selling albums and being one of America’s sweethearts,
Carrie Underwood has not really made a huge impression across the
Atlantic.
All that could change this year for the Oklahoma lass who is set to play her first concert in the UK this summer.
Carrie, 29, is set to play the Royal Albert Hall on June 21 and she
said she wants to get London line-dancing. She said: ‘It will be my
first time with a UK audience. There needs to be a few country artists
out here, to let people know what they’re missing.
