New Album Includes Three Current Chart Tracks

Nashville, TN (June 25, 2012)  —  Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce CARRIE HASSLER will be featured on WSM Radio’s Station Inn Sessions Thursday, June 28, 2012. The show will kick off at 5:00 p.m. CT when DJ, Mike Terry will interview Carrie and feature her new album THE DISTANCE.  At 6:00 p.m., Carrie will perform a live one hour concert that will air on WSM Radio and will stream live at WSMonline.com.  The event is free and fans are invited to be part of this live audience for the interview and live concert.

THE DISTANCE, debuted last month on BILLBOARD MAGAZINE’s Top 10 Bluegrass Album Chart.  The album includes three current radio chart songs:  “Get Me Over You” and “Luxury Liner” currently appearing on BLUEGRASS TODAY’s Top 20 Weekly Airplay Chart; and “The Distance” appearing on the HOT DISC Top 40.  The
Distance “is a great way to end a strong album that definitely
positions Carrie Hassler as one of the best female vocalists in all of

Carrie can be seen on several upcoming TV specials including her BEHIND THE DREAM episode airing on BlueHighways TV in July and her appearance on RFD-TV on Ronnie Reno’s Old Time Music Festival – Bluegrass Comes To The Valley airing in September.

Carrie will serve as one of the judges in the upcoming “Crossville’s Got Talent”
taking place at the Palace Theatre in Crossville, TN on Friday, June 29
