Slow Down Sara Evans

The
eldest of seven children, Sara was born and raised in Franklin,
Missouri. She not only learned to work hard on the family farm. She
also started singing in the family band at age 5. At the age of 8,

accident, by singing traditional country songs from her wheelchair,
to help pay for her medical expenses. During her teenage years, Sara
sang in nightclubs. She decided to move to Nashville to pursue a
musical career and moved there for the first time in 1991.

After
moving to Oregon and getting married, she returned to Nashville in

open a door for her at RCA records.
Sara
released her debut album ‘Three Chords and the Truth’ with RCA, in
1997. Her third studio album ‘Born To Fly’ was her breakout album,
with the title track reaching number one on the Hot Country Songs

Records.
