NASHVILLE, Tenn.  (September 12, 2017) – Dugger Band Music flagship country recording duo, Dugger Band, will release its debut single, titled East Tennessee Son,* to country radio on September 18, 2017 [CDX Vol. 652 (08/14/17)/PlayMpe (08/21/17)]. A
Dugger Band/Paul David co-production, the musically-fitting track comes
as an early preview to the pair’s sophomore album by the same name, EAST TENNESSEE SON (anticipated in early December 2017), and is an introduction that suits the duo well.

Jordan and Seth Dugger, natives of Greeneville, TN, wrote the reflective hometown ode alongside seasoned Nashville songwriter Bill DiLuigi.Thewarmly-paintedstoryline
spotlights a majestic panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains sheltering
the streets below and captures the embracing welcome and comfortable
familiarity of the place they call “home.” Showcasing the magic of
family harmonies, the brothers share lead vocals taking a turn in each
verse. The lyrics incorporate tributes to world-renowned East Tennessee
anthems including “Smoky Mountain Rain” (Ronnie Milsap) and “Rocky Top”
(Osborne Brothers/Ricky Skaggs among others) as well as musical
recollections from award-winning recording artists who hail from the
region (Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” and Kenny Chesney’s “Back Where I Come From”).

Here’s to ole Rocky Top I will always love you

Back where I come from you can’t beat the view

When the Smoky Mountain rain falls it’s a beautiful thing

Yeah it’s in my blood I’m an East Tennessee Son

“Our
home and upbringing has molded and shaped who we are today, and we
wanted to write a song that shared our love for our friends, family and
the community, and the beautiful natural surroundings of East
Tennessee,”
introduced Seth Dugger, the younger of the two.
“‘East Tennessee Son’ emulates the music we grew up on; the song paints
a picture of the sites and sounds of small town East Tennessee living.
There is something that is pure in this record that everyone seems to
relate to,”
added Jordan Dugger.

The
Dugger brothers are the sons of pastors devoted to a small Tennessee
community nestled at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains just an hour
northeast of Knoxville. Jordan and Seth began their singing career
performing worship songs at their parents’ church. Both graduates of the
University of Tennessee (Jordan studied Architecture and Seth graduated
with a degree in Finance), the young performers, who are equally
talented on multiple instruments, formed Dugger Band as official in
2011. The duo made its debut in the country music format with, FLY, three
short years later (November 2014) and now performs more than 150 dates
per year. Dugger Band has appeared center stage at the Wildhorse Saloon,
Dollywood, Bristol Motor Speedway, Gaylord Texan Resort Hotel &
Convention Center and at numerous other notable venues and events.

In keeping with their passion for the ministry, Jordan and Seth formed the independent school program, A Dream Worth Chasing,
a schoolhouse concert series and inspirational outreach program created
to celebrate and motivate our children through music. As part of the
program, Dugger Band has performed at Greeneville High School, North
Greene High School, Chuckey-Doak High School and countless elementary
schools just in the last year with an aggressive schedule in the works
for 2018.

Close
to home, Dugger Band is actively involved with organizations lending
assistance to those who have suffered from the tragic Gatlinburg fires (Mountain Tough Recovery Team, East Tennessee Foundation and Dollywood Foundation). Their new single, “East Tennessee Son,” has taken on a whole new meaning since the devastating November 2016 event; as such, Dugger Band is donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the single to assist these charities in rebuilding homes. The track will be available via all major digital retail and streaming outlets (Amazon/iTunes/ Pandora/Rhapsody/Spotify) onSeptember 15, 2017.  Regina Raleigh and Ann Chrisman will head up the radio promotion campaign.
