2007 hat es nicht dazu gereicht wieder Duo des Jahres zu werden und somit den begehrten CMA Award mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Aber da Brooks & Dunn davon schon einige zu Hause stehen haben, werden sie es sicherlich verschmerzt haben. „Cowboy Town“ ist wieder so eine typische Brooks & Dunn Produktion, bei der eigentlich nichts falsch gemacht worden ist. Und da Kix Brooks für das Songwriting bei Brooks & Dunn zuständig ist, steuerte er gleich mal in Zusammenarbeit mit Bob Dipiero die Titel „Ballad Of Jerry Jeff Walker“, „Drunk On Love“ und „Chance Of A Lifetime“ bei.
In 2007 it wasn’t enough to become Duet of the year and take the most wanted CMA Award home with them. But considering Brooks & Dunn have a couple of them at home already, they will manage that just fine. „Cowboy Town“is one of the typical Brooks & Dunn productions, where nothing can really go wrong. And Kix Brooks was in charge of the Song writing at Brooks & Dunn, he wrote the Songs „Ballad Of Jerry Jeff Walker“ , „Drunk On Love“ and „Chance Of A Lifetime“ together with Bob Dipiero.
