New Single Available Today on iTunes from MisBHavin’ Records, indieExtreme

Nashville, TN (August 27, 2013) – Breelan Angel and MisBhavin’ Records are pleased to announce the release of the artist’s sophomore single, “Halfway To Wasted.”* A genuine “drink it all away” heartbreak song that is rooted in country’s traditional style, the single was penned by Breelan and Clay Mills (writer of the #1 hits “Beautiful Mess” by Diamond Rio and Darius Rucker’s “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It”) and produced by Emmy award winning Ray Barnette (Billy Dean). Available today on iTunes through indieExtreme and InGrooves Fontana, “Halfway To Wasted” is impacting radio now.
Radio programmers have spoken up early about Breelan’s powerful second single:
“Love this song!  ‘Halfway To Wasted’ will be the one that takes Breelan to a whole new level!” Kelly Green | 100.9 The Farm/WEIO | Huntingdon, TN
“Breelan’s new single, ‘Halfway To Wasted’ is stronger than anything I have heard from her so far… and her previous work has been great!”
Richard Ferguson | KXOX | Sweetwater, TX
“After a solid debut single, Breelan takes it up another notch with ‘Halfway To Wasted.’ Well sung and produced, I’m looking forward to giving it some spins.”
Mike Thomas | KWRE/KFAV | Warrenton, MO
‘Halfway to Wasted’
took us by surprise.  It’s professional, it’s polished and is the
perfect mix of music and vocals. The melody flows so well and connects
perfectly with the lyrics. We look forward to playing this one!”
Kim Imber | Badlands Radio | Friendswood, TX
A native Texan, Breelan is expanding her focus to pursue music full-time nationally and is moving forward as the success of her fiery debut single, “It’s My Turn,”
introduced country listeners to her independent and free spirited
“steel magnolia” persona. Keeping true to her country roots, this tune
is a strong shot of truth for anyone who has ever tried to get over a
relationship that has gone on way too long.
“More
often than not, girls and guys go out drinking to forget about the
loneliness of a bad heartache. The song came from such a night with my
friends and it’s all about letting go and drowning the hurt and pain
just one time before really moving on,”
Breelan stated.
“I am beyond excited for everyone to hear ‘Halfway to Wasted’ as it is
one of my favorites out of the all the songs I have ever written.”
Ray Barnette, who is working with some of the most noted up and comers in Nashville’s music scene right now, saw Breelan’s star potential as a songwriter and artist as they recorded “Halfway To Wasted” and other songs from her forthcoming debut album, IT’S MY TURN.
“Without a doubt, Breelan Angel is a unique talent and a force to be reckoned with,” he stated. “Keep an eye out for this one. I see great things ahead!”
Mark Maynard of Momentum Music Nashville is spearheading the radio campaign for “Halfway To Wasted” having successfully launched Breelan‘s career with the debut single “It’s My Turn” (#65 on MusicRow Country Breakout Chart). Chris Taylor, Jack PrideJennifer Blair, Jerry Duncan and Roger Corkill are on board promoting the single to stations across the country.
Breelan showed
off a God-given natural talent at the early age of three when she began
ballet, tap and jazz. As she grew older, she took piano lessons and
performed in choirs and theater productions crafting and developing her
vocal talent, demeanor, and stage presence along the way. Working with
renowned vocal coach Tom McKinney, Breelan began the process of recording an EP and making trips to Nashville to hone her songwriting skills.
Breelan is playing regularly and her tour schedule has included shows at such venues in Texas as Houston’s House of Blues, Firehouse Saloon and Mucky Duck, Stafford Centre (Stafford), Rowdy Buck’s (Crosby), Freiheit Country Store (New Braunfels), The Chute (Baytown), and out of state venues Wormy Dog in Oklahoma City and The National Underground in Nashville.
Having played events such as Crosby Fair & Rodeo (twice), Lone Star Rally, Galveston County Fair, Whiskey & Wine and “Girls With Guitars” for KILT, and Farmer’s Branch Liberty Fest, Breelan is quickly becoming a regular on the tour circuit. As a performer she has had the privilege of supporting Loretta Lynn, Joe Nichols, Don Williams, Travis Tritt, Doug Stone, Kevin Fowler, Randy Rogers, Aaron Watson, Johnny Cooper, Casey Donahew and Cody Johnson. Upcoming shows with newcomer Curtis Grimes (who was coached by Cee Lo Green on season one of “The Voice”) and, fellow Texan, Chris Cagle are on the calendar.
