Brantley Gilbert Bulls-eye Debut!

Bulls-eye
Debut!
If
Brantley Gilbert isn’t a household name yet, he soon will be, if he keeps
pumping out rocking country tunes like his current ‘My Baby’s Guns and Roses’
which is debuting on the Billboard’s Hot Country chart for the week of May 17, 2014
at number 18. The   song, My Baby’s Guns
and Roses, is an original, and is one of the songs on his new album, “Just As I
Am” This isn’t Brantley’s first ever debut, mind you. The 29 year old singer/songwriter
has had success on the charts before, with his second album, “Halfway to Heaven”
two singles ‘Country Must Be Country Wide’ and ‘You Don’t Know Her Like I Do’
went to number one on the HotCountry Chart. Gilbert won the ACM New Male Artist
award in 2013.
         Born
and raised in Jefferson, Georgia, Brantley got to live and experience the
benefits that a small town upbringing and influence can give, and it helped him
hone his skills to create his unique sound. His taste in music was always bent
towards a southern country rock kind of feel, but his life experiences of
heartache, triumph and trials found him a comfortable home in country music.

         He
began on stage and played acoustic shows in many venues. Though these shows
were often intimate, they didn’t give his audiences quite what they were
looking for, which was rocking country music. The evolution of his shows moved
from the softer          acoustic sound to
a high energy, flat out, country rock show.
         The
past five years have found Gilbert out on the road with a dynamic road show and
engaging lyrics that has built the kind of brand that is now his own. He has a
following of passionate fans, who enthusiastically support Brantley’s life and
music, and his life in music.

         Signed
by Valory Music Co., a division of Big Machine Label in February 2011. He
shares a label that is home to country super-star Reba, and to Jewel, and
Justin Moore. This was another big step forward for Brantley.
         Brantley’s
abilities as a great songwriter haven’t gone without notice either. A song from
his first album entitled ‘The Best of Me’ was recorded by Jason Aldean. In
August 2010 Brantley’s song ‘My Kind of Party’ also recorded by Aldean, became
a big hit and the title track to Jason Aldean’s platinum selling album. Honored
that another Georgia boy would record his songs, Gilbert has said, “It’s a real
honor that someone like Jason would want to record one of my songs.”
         Speaking
of honor, tied to his website
www.brantleygilbert.com
is a page foh.brantleygilbert.com where he supports Folds of Honor, a
foundation that honors and provides support to fallen or wounded soldiers and
their families.
What a wonderful and generous thing to be a part
of, in fact, a portion of the sales and merchandise on Brantley’s new album
‘Just As I Am’ (which can be pre-ordered now) will go to the Folds of Honor
Foundation. Just one more reason to want to have a copy of his album!

         Brantley
Gilbert is a talented young man, with a big heart. We can expect many big
things and much success for to come for him.
