BRANDY CLARK RELEASES “GIRL NEXT DOOR” TODAY

First Single from Upcoming Second Album Impacts Country Radio Feb. 16

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (Jan. 22, 2016) – Four-time GRAMMY nominee and Warner Bros. recording artist Brandy Clark kicks off the new year by releasing her new single “Girl Next Door” today at all digital retailers. The song, written by Clark, Jessie Jo Dillon and Shane McAnally, will impact country radio on Feb. 16.

“I am thrilled to start this year by releasing new music!” said the CMA
Award winner. “The response to ‘Girl Next Door’ from both my concert
audiences and the country radio stations I have visited has been so
positive and strong. I can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

“Girl Next Door” is the first single from her highly anticipated second
album, which will be released later this summer. The project is the
follow up to Clark’s critically acclaimed debut, 12 Stories, which New York Magazine, NPR, The New York Post and The Boston Globe all named the best album of 2013. That same year, The Los Angeles Times called it “the country debut of the year” and placed it on its year-end best-of list, as did Rolling Stone and The New Yorker.

12 Stories earned Clark GRAMMY nominations in 2014 for both
Best Country Album of the Year and the all-genre Best New Artist
category. Her performance of “Hold My Hand” with Dwight Yoakam on last
year’s GRAMMY Awards broadcast was a highlight of the show, with the
ballad achieving her current GRAMMY nomination for Country Song of the
Year.

Currently on the road with Jennifer Nettles on the CMT Next Women of
Country Tour, the singer/songwriter has toured with Eric Church and Alan
Jackson during the last two years in addition to solo shows. For

The Morton, Washington-native received her first of four career GRAMMY
nominations in 2013 in the Best Country Song category for co-writing the
Miranda Lambert No. 1 hit “Mama’s Broken Heart.” She won the 2014 CMA
Song of the Year Award for “Follow Your Arrow,” which she co-wrote with
Shane McAnally and Kacey Musgraves, and was also named the 2014 Music Row Breakthrough
Artist of the Year. The Academy of Country Music voters nominated her
for Female Vocalist of the Year in 2015. For more information, visit BrandyClarkMusic.com.  Follow her on Facebook at facebook.com/TheBrandyClark and on Twitter @TheBrandyClark.
