Brandon Jenkins Stand Alone

Brandon Jenkins New I Stand Alone Due May 27 on Red River Entertainment

NASHVILLE,
TENNESSEE — The very core of a great song is often heard best with the
simpliest of settings.  “The Red Dirt Legend,” Brandon Jenkins has the songs front and center in his new I Stand Alone collection, set for release on May 27 on Red River Entertainment.

Known for
his often incendiary, high octane electric performances with his hard
working tour band, Jenkins strips away the layers on his
I Stand Alone to further reveal the depth of the Oklahoman journeyman musician’s songwriting skills.

“I had been
writing a lot of songs toward the end of last year and went up to
Nashville to visit my manager, Ben Ewing,” Jenkins recalls.  “He had
arranged an acoustic show for me and I played for a few industry folks
and a couple of my fans, performing the all new material that no one had
ever heard but me.  We recorded the show listened back the next day.
Ben suggested I do an acoustic solo album.  I said when and he said
now.”

Produced
again with longtime friend David Perciful, Jenkins retains his hallmark
raw energy coupled with the spare backing of his own guitar.  In the
end, the lyrics of his songs are presented with a power, sincerity and
conviction that few others have mastered.

“It
is unwise to simply dismiss Brandon Jenkins as a tattooed guitar
wielding giant, although that is certainly part of his personality,”
writes LoneStarMusic Magazine. “To truly understand Brandon
Jenkins you must realize that he is a thoughtful and soul baring artist
sharing his craft with audiences nightly and on each of his records.”

Jenkins
has been breaking musical ground and stereotypes since the mid 1990’s.
His live shows, whether acoustic or featuring his rocking electric trio,
are a spellbinding display of music mixing force and subtlety.  The
diverse nature of his song catalog and the versatile dynamics of his
musicianship allow him to conquer any audience he is in front of.
