It’s Christmas in June for Blake Shelton, who announced backstage at
the CMA Music Festival on Friday night (June 8) that he’s been in the
studio all week working on a holiday album.
Fans who follow piano player, Gordon Mote, on Twitter may have been
expecting this news. Gordon tweeted a picture of the two together
Wednesday (June 6), writing, “Had a great day working on a new
@BlakeShelton Christmas album. He’s pretty fantastic!”
At around the same time, Blake posted a jovial introduction, joking,
“Y’all meet my hair stylist @GordonMote!!! Follow the man!!!”
