Blake Shelton, Barry Manilow, Train and Journey are the first
performers announced for the 2012 Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis.
The concert series has been moved to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse
because the outdoor grandstand has been retired after seven people were
killed and dozens injured when high winds toppled stage rigging and
equipment prior to Sugarland’s performance on Aug. 13, 2011.
Shelton has scheduled an Aug. 17 appearance. Manilow performs on Aug. 3
and Train on Aug. 4. Journey’s Aug. 8 concert will also feature Pat
Benatar and Loverboy.
