Dean Signs Exclusive Management Contract with Industry Veteran Ron Rainey
Nashville, Tenn. (February 28, 2012) – Today, GRAMMY Award-winning country music crooner Billy Dean announced that he’s signed an exclusive artist management contract with Beverly Hills-based Ron Rainey Management.
“Ron’s company has a firm grasp on my work as well as a clear vision and plan for the next chapter in my career,” says Dean. “We’ve got some exciting news on the way and I appreciate Ron’s dedication and determination to take my career to the next level.”

Rainey established Ron Rainey Management in 1981 after selling his highly successful Magna Artist Corporation booking agency. The management company’s longtime clients include The Marshall Tucker Band, John Kay & Steppenwolf, Alvin Lee, and Kid Creole and the Coconuts, among others.
Billy Dean is an American country music artist who, to date, has snagged thirteen Top 10 hits and holds four RIAA-certified Gold studio albums. Dean’s biggest hits include “Only Here For A Little While,” “Somewhere In My Broken Heart,” “Billy The Kid” and “Let Them Be Little.” Dean also sang harmony (along with Alison Krauss) on Kenny Rogers’ number one hit, “Buy Me A Rose.”
