Buxton first signed with BIG LOUD SHIRT
in 2012 after her career as a solo artist, which included the Top 25
single “Outside My Window.” Her first success as a songwriter came when
Keith Urban released “Stupid Boy” (co-written by Buxton with Dave Berg
and Deanna Bryant) on his album, LOVE, PAIN & THE WHOLE CRAZY THING. The song reached #3 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 2007 and won a Grammy for Best Male Country Vocal Performance
in 2008. She has gone on to pen songs by Martina McBride (“Reckless”),
