Bailey, affectionately known to all as BayTay, has always had the head of a dreamer but the heart of a home-body. As a child she loved singing in front of the mirror but quickly realized her passion for performing when she had the opportunity to sing on stage. Local shows turned into regional tours and then to festivals until she ultimately made the leap to move to Music City right out of high school. Pursuing her dream meant leaving family behind, but as the youngest member of an innately musical family, they were never far from her thoughts.

Bailey’s Uncle Bill, known as B.E. Taylor, was a world-renowned singer and performer known for his annual Christmas Tour. Through this tradition and countless independent releases, B.E. helped propel the Taylor name into local hall-of-fame status for thousands of families throughout the 20+ year run of his career. As a world-class performer and a man of such strong faith, he was a natural fit as Bailey’s childhood role model. “I remember being 8 years old at one of his Christmas shows when I realized that I wanted to be just like him when I grew up. I loved watching him perform and interact with his crowds. I knew I wanted to follow in my Uncle Bill’s footsteps.”

When he passed away in August 2016 from an inoperable brain tumor, a huge hole was left in the hearts of the family and fans of B.E. Taylor. “My family went on to have 3 years of remembrance shows around the holidays, and Christmas of 2019 was the final year of a 20+ year tradition. The show my Uncle built and the friendships he created will never go away. They will live on in everyone who has been a part of this show and all the fans it has touched.” Bailey had the honor of singing in her Uncle’s concerts from ages 12 to 20. “They are memories I will truly never forget and he is someone I will always have in my mind and heart. He is the reason I am chasing this dream, and all I ever pray for is that I am making him proud.”

That same year, Bailey started writing her own songs. “I would just hear a melody in my head, and I would put words to it. It was an easy process to me and something I always loved to do,” she says. Nowadays the singer-songwriter lists Kelsea Ballerini, Carrie Underwood, and Lauren Alaina as her musical inspiration. In July 2020, Bailey released her first single Not A Worry, followed by Breakup Boundaries, Back Of My Memory, and They Said by the Fall of 2021.
