BAILEY JAMES INTRODUCES TEENS AND TWEENS TO TRADITONAL COUNTRY MUSIC ON DEBUT “TEXAS SWING”

Bailey
James, a 13-year-old rising country songstress, will be transporting
listeners of all ages to the days when folks were  “swinging real slow
to the radio” on her premiere single, Texas Swing. With over
70,000 fans across her social media platforms, Bailey is introducing and
drawing her swiftly growing young audience to a new adaption of
traditional country music merged with lyrics that connect with her fans.

“It’s
country, spunky and sassy,” says Bailey.  “I was 12 when we began
working on the album and it was such a cool experience to co-write this
single with my producer David Norris and writer/vocalist Lala Deaton! As
a teenager who loves country music, it was hard to relate to the lyrics
of songs that I heard on the radio. I thought, ‘I could do this’ and
with the help of my parents and great professionals in Nashville, we
created an exciting debut record.”

Available at all online retailers on March 25th, Texas Swing
is a throwback tune with contemporary lyrics that pays homage to the
traditional side of country that was founded on hits of Patsy Cline and
continues to find fans with artists like Kacey Musgraves and Brandy
Clark. The song serves as an introduction to the Pennsylvania reared
songstress. She has established a strong fan base through her YouTube
and social media profiles and has appeared at middle and elementary
schools across the nation. Consequently, it comes as no coincidence that
she is releasing her single during “Music In Our Schools Month.”

“We’ve
had the opportunity to perform in several schools and talk about
balancing school with your interest and hoping to inspire kids my age to
follow their dreams,” says Bailey. “My parents are so supportive and I
hope other kids can start discovering things that they like. I also know
that teachers and principals can be such great role models. I wouldn’t
be where I am today if it weren’t for my 6th grade teacher
Mr. Neuman.  He would show my videos or talk about the contests I had
won in class and I became much more comfortable with this idea because
of his support.”

As
a teen, Bailey has accomplished more than many rising performing
artists on the country scene.  She has penned songs with notable
writers, recorded her debut EP and even performed on the world famous
Bluebird Café stage.  Fans can purchase the debut single, Texas Swing at online retailers on March 25th; however, Bailey has another option for downloading and engaging with her fans. If they visit
www.giftfrombailey.com,
the debut single will be available for free and fans can sign-up to
stay updated on her launch into the country scene. Her full length debut
album Where It All Begins, which features five songs co-written by Bailey, will be released on iTunes and other online retails on April 29th.
