Savina Todorova: How was the last year for you? What were your highlights?

Austin Tolliver: The last year for me was absolutely fantastic. I know it sucked for a lot because of covid, but for me it was a dream come true year. I went from Rolling Stone party, the Versace mansion, and other Super Bowl parties and performances to signing a record deal with the exact label I wanted to sign with, Average Joes Entertainment. They are family and I’m blessed to be a part of the future and honored to be the artist that will take this label to the top.

Savina Todorova: Tell us about your upcoming single, “Yodelay You Down”.  Is there a story behind the song’s title?

Austin Tolliver: “Yodelay You Down” is a badass song. It’s a very sexual song and one the fans can vibe to. It brings out the freak in everyone, but in a country way. Ride the wave cause this song is just part of the 2021 takeover.

Savina Todorova: Do you write your own songs yourself? If not, how do you go about finding your songs?

Austin Tolliver: I do write a lot of my songs with my co-writer, Aaron Lamont. When we get in a room together, sh** just becomes magical. We pump out song after song after song and the creative vibes are always on point.

Savina Todorova: What is the best compliment a fan has given you?

Austin Tolliver: The outlaw family are the best damn fans on the planet. I appreciate all their support and all the compliments, but if I had to pick one it would be one of the fans saying that I’m “going to be a superstar.” That means a lot to me because it means the fans are seeing the same dreams I am and that means we are kicking ass the right way.

Savina Todorova: Your current single, “Tip My Hat,” is being streamed. What do you feel is special about this song that makes people want to hear it?

Austin Tolliver: “Tip My Hat” is an in-your-face, we are hear to screw sh** up, kinda song. It’s a song that shows we ain’t here to just take part, we are here to take over.

Savina Todorova: What is your favorite song among all the songs you have recorded and what’s the story behind it?

I can’t pick a favorite. They are all a part of the plan, the story, the vibe, and the takeover. The story of every song I have is what I was going through in life at that particular time. My sh** is real. We aren’t here to tell stories about drinking whiskey at a bar, we are here to tell you what lead us to the bar. It’s all a reality. Just get ready, the picture is just starting to get painted.
