Named one ofApple Music Country’s “Hot Tracks,” the song is also featured on the“Best of the Week” playlist.Showcasing his natural ability to captivate with simple, meaningful lyrics and just his soothing vocal,Whiskey Riffcalls the track “your new heartbreak anthem,” noting that Jenckes’ is “one of the best new voices out there.” 

“In My Head was a song I didn’t originally think of for myself when we wrote it,” Jenckes tellsRaised Rowdy.
“Once we went in the studio to demo it, I ended up singing that version
& fell in love with the vibe & the story within the song. It
has such vivid imagery in the lyric that It feels like I’m in that
moment every time we play it.”
