Exclusively debuting the rooftop performance onTheBoot.comyesterday (11/7), the Nashville based, Washington native alsoperformed the National Anthemat last weekend’s Seattle Seahawks Game to a packed crowd of 65,000.
Currently on tour in support of the new single, Jenckes’ track was named one ofApple Music Country’s “Hot Tracks,”
being featured on their Best of the Week playlist upon release, while
“In My Head” is currently playing on Apple’s Beats of The Week by Dre,
Spotify’s Hot Country and New Boots playlists, along with Pandora’s New
Country playlist. Showcasing his natural ability to captivate with simple, meaningful lyrics and just his soothing vocal,Whiskey Riffcalls the track “your new heartbreak anthem,” noting that Jenckes’ is “one of the best new voices out there.”
“In My Head was a song I didn’t originally think of for myself when we wrote it,”he
explains. “Once we went in the studio to demo it, I ended up singing
that version & fell in love with the vibe & the story within the
song. It has such vivid imagery in the lyric that It feels like I’m in
that moment every time we play it.”
Recently performing a sold-out hometown show at Seattle’s Triple Door along with one at Nashville’s famous Bluebird Cafe, theRolling Stone Country “Artist You Need To Know” is currently on the road for his “In My Head” tour which runs through the end of the year.
