August Brings Scott Southworth Album Spotlight on Midnite Jamboree and Norway Tour

August will be a big month
for traditional country music songwriter and indy artist Scott
Southworth. The growing success of his recent release, “Hey Hillbilly
Singer!” leads his music to worldwide radio and a live stage overseas
this month.

Notable country music industry veteran Robert K. Oermann calls the
title track a “bawling, honky tonk, beer drinking blazer, ” going on to
say, “It doesn’t get more in your face country than this.”

Traditionalists can listen to selections from the album each
Saturday during August on the legendary radio show, The Ernest Tubb
Midnite Jamboree, which broadcast at 12 midnight central time on 650 AM
WSM and worldwide on www.wsmonline.com. “Hey Hillbilly Singer!” will not
only be spotlighted on radio, but the album will have a special store
front display at the historic Ernest Tubb Record Shop on Broadway in
downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

Then, by popular demand, Scott Southworth returns overseas after a
successful European summer tour to visit Norway. Southworth will be one
of the featured performers at this year’s Trandal Country Fest on August
10th and August 11th, headlining Saturday’s big show. Southworth will
proudly represent American honky tonk at the exciting festival in the
midst of fjord and mountains .

Country Music People Magazine assures fans this live show will be a
treat by saying “Hey Hillbilly Singer!” is “Not just a perfect country
album, but one that encompasses everything that’s good about country
music in the first place.”

Scott Southworth’s music is currently available for radio adds. Hey Hillbilly Singer! can be downloaded on Airplay Direct. airplaydirect.com. In just one weeks time on the site, the album is in The Top 10 Country Album Downloads.
