Angie Johnson Signs with Sony Music Nashville

Nashville, TN – Missouri Air National Guard Tech Sergeant Angie
Johnson signs a recording contract with Sony Music Nashville. The
YouTube sensation was discovered after a video of her performing for
troops in Afghanistan went viral.

A native of St. Louis, Johnson spent six years in the Air Force,
first as an intelligence analyst then as a featured performer in the
famed Air Force Tops In Blue Band. After being honorably discharged, she
transitioned to the Air National Guard and the band Sidewinder and
moved to Nashville to pursue her dreams of becoming a country artist.
Josh Leo (Love and Theft) has signed on as her producer.
