ANGELA
HESSE HEATS UP SUMMER WITH NEW SINGLE—”HOT SUMMERTIME”
–FORTHCOMING DEBUT ALBUM RELEASING IN AUGUST
NEW
ALBUM “BITTERSWEET” STREETS
AUGUST
14
(Nashville, Tennessee) –July 31, 2012
–In the midst of one of the hottest summers on record, breaking new
country artist, Angela Hesse,
is turning the heat up even further for country music listeners with
her debut single, “Hot
Summertime” (
HMG/ASH Records) now radiating
nationally across the airwaves.
 “Hot Summertime” is but one
centerpiece of Angela’s much-anticipated debut album project, “Bittersweet,” –an
incredible in-studio labor of love on both the performance and
songwriting sides for the stunning tall, blue-eyed blonde with
the radiate smile. The album will street in August, giving country
music audiences a full-on introduction to a newcomer with the
undeniable talent, looks, and determination to make the
full run to super-stardom.
With the beautiful exterior comes a
performer and songwriter of noteworthy depth as well as the
surprisingly untraditional country music pedigree of being born and
raised in Minnesota—far off the average southern track of her
contemporaries in the 2012 industry freshman class. She grew up
on a farm in southern Minnesota, the youngest of four and the only
girl.
“I decided to move to Nashville in the fall
of 2011,” Angie noted in a recent interview. “I loved my family and
growing up on the farm –I was involved in piano, dance, 4-H and every
sport possible but I knew since I was very young that I wanted to
have a career in music.”
Influenced in her music by artists as
eclectic as Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkston, and Patsy Cline, Angela
stopped off to gather her college degree in music on the way to the
pursuit of her dreams.
Her song selection on “Bittersweet” paints
both rich self-portraits of her own life experiences and emotions, as
well as addressing issues she hopes to bring light to bear on—from
suicide and human trafficking to a bonus track “He Smiles” –the
proceeds from which Angela is earmarking for cancer related
charities. Aware of the platform for good causes that celebrity can
bring, Angela is an artist on a mission beyond stardom. “I care about
people,” she notes, “and I want to make this world a better place for
everyone.”
At 23, with dedication and a commitment to
her career center-stage, Angela is poised to be a major influencer in
this new season in country music. Passionate about being close to her
support base, her social media stats attest to a rapidly building fan
base and plans for a fall radio tour in support of the new album
promise to introduce her music to an even wider listenership.
As for long term goals, Angie’s wish list is
simple: Her own hit songs on the Billboard
charts, touring with her own band, and taking a few CMA Awards for
the Minnesota home-team!
