by Nigel Sharpe for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show
On April 7th, country recording Andrew Salgado released his third album and first vinyl record entitled 86 Vol 2 – Autumn Dawn. At the end of April, he released his first post-launch radio single off the 15 track all original song album, Lipstick Stains on my T-Shirt, which has been playing on a variety of stations and has earned him his first slot on the top 200 Music Row charts. He has been on a two-month media tour with multiple stops in vinyl record stores with over 10 stores carrying the album which can also directly be ordered from https://www.andrewsalgado.net in CD and vinyl versions. He self-produced, sang, and played acoustic guitar and four other instruments on most of the album which was primarily engineered by Brett Aaron Hammond at Kiwi Audio Recording studios. His style has been called ‘Kaleidoscope Country’ because of it’s influences of Pop, Latin, Rock, Americana, Blues, Jazz and more which are embedded into his music and lyrics. This album is a masterful work in storytelling and takes the listener on a journey that continues to tell Andrew’s story through his music and is a genre busting country record sure to delight his fans and bring new fans along for the journey.
