American Drive Album Cruises To #1
“Is It Too Late To Settle Down” is Radio Active
 
 
Nashville, TN (May 6, 2013)  Rural Rhythm is proud to announce that AMERICAN DRIVE’S self-titled debut album has gone #1 on the Sirius/XM Radio Bluegrass Junction Most Played-Albums Chart for May.  AMERICAN DRIVE also, has the #2 position on the Sirius XM Radio Most Played-Tracks for May with the song “Is It Too Late To Settle Down”.
 
In addition, “Is It Too Late To Settle Down” debuted at #19 on the Bluegrass Today Monthly Airplay Chart for May.   Rural Rhythm has included “Is It Too Late To Settle Down”
on the current FRESH CUTS & KEY TRACKS, 2013 No. 2, Radio CD and is
working this song as the current focused track on the album.
 
The AMERCIAN DRIVE band includes group members of J.D. Crowe & The New South who are carrying on now that J.D. Crowe has announced his retirement. The band includes the talents of: Rickey Wasson (Lead/harmony Vocals, Guitar), Dwight McCall (Lead/Harmony Vocals, Mandolin), Matt DeSpain (Resonator Guitar) and Kyle Perkins (Bass) all from The New South who are joined by Josh Hymer (Banjo).

AMERICAN DRIVE performed
live for the first time at the 2012 IBMA Convention during their
Official Showcase performance in front of hundreds of radio programmers,
press and media people, talent buyers and other industry VIP’s.
Since
then they have been very busy on the road performing songs from this
album and songs from solo album’s previously released by RURAL RHYTHM; RICKEY WASSONFROM THE HEART AND SOUL and DWIGHT McCALLNEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN. Upcoming AMERICAN DRIVE key tour dates over the next several months include:
