ALLAN & ASHCRAFT DEBUT EP

ALLAN & ASHCRAFT CELEBRATED THE RELEASE OF THEIR SELF-TITLED DEBUT EP IN MUSIC CITY AT THE LEGENDARY TOOTSIE’S

Gave the music industry and country music fans a chance to hear their new music with several shows this past weekend on Lower Broadway

(Nashville, TN – 10/04/11) Fort Wayne Indiana’s Allan & Ashcraft took to the stage in the backroom at the legendary Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge this past Thursday September 29th in front of the country music industry and media to showcase their new material from the self-titled debut EP.
Performing all five of the EP’s tracks, including the lead single “Cornfields” and their country crossover version of Buck Cherry’s “Sorry,” they delighted the crowd as they swapped back and forth between lead vocals, showcased their musicianship and performed their modern brand of country.
Besides offering the audience a glimpse into the current, they also took the opportunity to perform material of what’s to come as well as pay homage to all of their influences from Garth Brooks to John Anderson and Dierks Bentley before ending with their take on Prince’s “Purple Rain.”
After performing an hour long set at Tootsie’s, Allan & Ashcraft played a late night set at Rippy’s on the corner of 5th and Broadway that same night and spent the remainder of  their Music City weekend playing both Tootsie’s and Rippy’s one more time each before returning back to Fort Wayne.
