Lamitschka:  What is your latest single and hows it doing?

Answer:
My latest song just released a week ago called “Lie To My Mama.” I
wrote this song with my good friend and artist here in Nashville, Sam
Grow. So far, I’m getting a great response to the song. I loved writing
this one! You can stream it on every streaming platform.

Lamitschka:  What will your next single be?

Answer:
I’m currently working on a Pop project that I’ve been wanting to do for
a while now. The thing about being your own artist, is you can be very
versatile. I don’t like to be categorized by one genre or stuck inside a
“box.” I think now a days, you have to be able to mold yourself over
and over and be open to trying new things. I love experimenting with my
sound so this project for me, is fantastic.

Lamitschka:  Do you have any interesting stories about how fans have been affected by your music?

Answer:
I love this question. I’ve had a lot of people reach out to me for
different songs that I have released. A lot of them tell me how they
feel like they have gone through the same thing and they never thought
they would have heard it in a song or didn’t know how it could be put
into a song. I think whether it inspires them, or helps them cope with
something, it’s something that I will never be able to get over. I was
once the girl who growing up, went through so much, and I would hear my
favorite artists on the radio sing a song that reminded me so much of
what I was going through. That’s the best feeling.

Lamitschka:  Who inspires you musically and how deep do your musical roots run?

Answer:
I think I’m trying to be the artist that I’ve always wanted to hear or
see perform, but I could never find her. It’s almost like I am creating
my own inspiration (if that makes sense). Sure, I listen to a lot of
artists and I love what they do, but no one yet has ever really inspired
my little pieces. I grew up performing in Musical Theatre so I really
think that has helped shape my career and has really allowed me to kind
of stretch and morph myself into different sounds.

Lamitschka:  If you had the chance to change something about the music industry, what would it

be?

Answer:
To give more artists a real chance. A lot of it (at least that I have
seen) is really based on connections, who you know and your social media
presence. I hate to see it have to happen like that. There are so many
incredible artists that don’t even get the time of day because they have
less than 5,000 followers on Instagram. It’s become very sad to me.

Lamitschka:  What was your big break that got you into the music business?

Answer:
When I found out that I loved to sing, I auditioned for American Idol
when I turned 16. That whole experience really set me in stone for my
career. I met so many wonderful people who are still friends to this
day. After Idol, I worked very hard on myself and how to become an
artist. It took many years to get it, and I still struggle with that. I
will always be evolving because that’s the kind of person that I am.

Lamitschka:  When you get time off, how do you like to relax?

Answer:
I love to get away! I’m a dog mom to a 1 year old Golden Retriever. He
is my everything! I take him hiking and he loves to swim. My boyfriend
is always on the road too, so when he comes home, we just love to be
with each other since we don’t get that very often.

Lamitschka: where would you like to play?

Answer:
I would love to go to Greece and play! There’s a lot of places outside
the US that I haven’t been to yet, and I would love to go. I am a huge
foodie, so when I wasn’t playing, I would be discovering new places to
eat and cafes!

Lamitschka:  You have a new love in your life? Can you tell us something about it?

Answer:
This isn’t new but it’s a fun fact I guess. I love Horses. I started to
ride probably close to when I started to walk. When I lived in LA, I
had a few jobs at various stables to give lessons and trail guided tours
to the Hollywood sign. I loved it so much! I get so much peace of mind
when I am riding. It is probably my number one love.
