2011 CMA AWARDS NOMINATIONS VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS PACKAGE FEATURING FINAL NOMINEES AND ARTIST INTERVIEWS TO BE SERVICED TUESDAY, SEPT. 6
NASHVILLE – The final nominees for “The 45th Annual CMA Awards” will be announced on Tuesday, Sept. 6. A video highlights package (VNR), featuring the announcements as well as artist interviews and music video clips, will be released via satellite Tuesday, Sept. 6 at (2:30 PM/ET). In addition, the VNR will also be made available via FTP download.
The Band Perry and Jake Owen will announce the nominees in five categories live from New York City on “Good Morning America” during the 8:30 AM (all time zones) half-hour segment. Jerrod Niemann and Thompson Square will announce final nominees in seven of the 12 CMA Awards categories from Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The JaneDear girls will announce the broadcast awards finalists. Both announcements will be included in the VNR.
The announcement of the final nominees leads up to “Country Music’s Biggest Night(tm).” Hosted for the third time by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, “The 45th Annual CMA Awards” airs live Wednesday, Nov. 9 (8:00-11:00 PM/EST) from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on the ABC Television Network.
