NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Friday, October 12, 2012) — Jerrod Niemann
‘freed the music’ for the first time in Nashville Wednesday night at
his sold out show at 3rd & Lindsley Bar and Grill to celebrate his
newly-released sophomore album, Free The Music, in stores now. Sea Gayle/Arista Nashville labelmate Brent Anderson and Columbia Records’ Tyler Farr kicked
off the show before the critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter revealed
yet another layer behind the musical masterpiece as he performed the
record in its entirety in track order. When Niemann reached track ten on
the record, “I’m All About You,” pop princess Colbie Caillat surprised fans and joined Niemann on stage to perform their song together.

Other highlights for the evening included another surprise performance from longtime friend, Lee Brice,
who took over the stage for an acoustic interlude and delivered a
medley of hits. Niemann joined him for the single, “Hard to Love,” which
Niemann touted as his favorite tune currently on the radio. Notable
songwriter, Jon Stone, also joined Brice on the song he helped co-pen, “A Woman Like You.”

Soon, Niemann invited Caillat and her guitar player, Justin Young, back to the stage where she performed her hits “I Never Told You” and “Droplets.”
The evening ended with a full band performance of Niemann’s
platinum-selling No. 1 hit, “Lover, Lover” in front of a still-packed
and raucous house.

The performance was the first show kicking off Niemann’s Jägermeister Tour to which he quipped, “Dreams really do come true!”
