After
a whirlwind year of success, Corey Wagar is ready to wrap it all up in style and give back to those in need as she continues her involvement with Holiday Express. She will work alongside this non-profit organization to deliver music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those who need it most this holiday season.
“I saw first hand all of the amazing things that Holiday Express can
do and I am so excited to be a part of it for the third year,” Corey says. “What an incredible experience this will be and I feel lucky to be able to spread a little cheer in every way that I can.” This New Jersey native will join over 100 other professional musicians on the Holiday Express tour, as they deliver the gift of human kindness throughout NJ. They will bring music, fun and the joy of the season to children and adults who are disabled, homeless, living with AIDS, isolated elderly and others in need throughout the tri-state area. |

President and Founder of Holiday Express,
Tim McLoone, created this organization to deliver hope to those in need. “The people we serve every year have it much worse than any of us can imagine. And probably the worst part is, in many cases, the absence of hope,” states McLoone. “We are proud to have Corey with us as she climbs the ladder of musical success. She understands that part of being an entertainer is giving freely of your talent to those in need. It’s what we do.” With the unique spirit and powerful vocals of her signature “Jersey meets Nashville” style, Corey Wagar’s most recent single, Take Ya Back About Holiday Express: Every year, this Monmouth County, NJ non-profit, non sectarian organization “has grown in reputation, in volunteer members and in reach. The band currently boasts more than 70 singers and musicians from noted bands and the Broadway stage. Our general volunteers offer countless ideas, skills and talents. The group visits more than 50 institutions every year between November and the end of December, bringing its unique brand of music, food, presents and pure joy to people who need the gift of human kindness.”
The Holiday Express,
which was founded by Tim McLoone, had numerous celebrity appearances which included Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, and others. They were also the band for the Rockefeller Center tree lighting in New York for 3 years, appeared on The Today Show twice and was profiled on NBC’s Nightly News with Brian Williams.
