Murphey Leaves 2013 Behind As He Prepares For a Busy 2014

NASHVILLE,
TENNESSEE — Having just wrapped up a wildly successful 20th Anniversary
Cowboy Christmas Tour, iconic singer songwriter Michael Martin Murphey is looking forward to what could be one of his busiest years yet in 2014.

In January alone, Murphey will play the popular Steamboat Springs Music Fest
(Jan. 6 & 7) in Steamboat Springs, Colorado — along with other
notable artists like Bruce Robison, Kelly Willis, Dean Dillon, J.D.
Souther, Lincoln Durham, Gary P. Nunn, Cody Canada, Hayes Carll and more
— followed by a rare trip to the Northeast where he will perform in New York City (Jan. 11 at Hill Country BBQ), New Haven, CT (Jan. 13 at Cafe Nine), Sellersville, PA (Jan. 15 at the Sellersville Theater), Wilmington, DE (Jan. 16 at World Cafe Live), Kansas City, MO (Jan. 19 at Knuckleheads) and, finally, at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko NV (Jan. 30 & 31).
