Lamitschka: Music has many new fans throughout Europe
who may be hearing about you for the first time. How would you describe
yourself and the music you play to someone who has never seen or heard you?
Answer: For me personally music is about stories
and emotions. I am a very emotional person and I’ve tried to put all these feelings
in my music. My recent album „Hallo Leben“ includes very personal stories that
have happened to me in the last few years, but also dreams, wishes and personal
longings.
Lamitschka: What is your latest CD and how’s it doing?
Answer: My recent Album
„Hallo Leben“ was released on Oct, 19th and it’s a kind of reboot for me. After
a musical break of five years I am very proud of this new baby.I had 2 very important supporters in this album: der Graf und
Henning Verlage from Unheilig wrote and produced this album with me. This is
really a great honor for me.
Lamitschka: How did you choose the title for the
CD? Is there a story behind the name?
Answer: „Hallo Leben“ embraces life and is
about all the different feelings of life. The title track „Hallo Leben“ is
about never giving up and always keep fighting.
Lamitschka: Do you write the songs yourself? If not,
how do you go about finding the songs for your CD?
Answer: Most of the songs the Graf from Unheilig
wrote for and with me. And two songs I wrote on my own.
Lamitschka: What is the difference between your last
CD and your current one?
Answer: The new album is much more personal and I was much more
involved in the process of writing and production oft he album.
Lamitschka: What will your next single be?
Answer: My new recent single is called „Ein Licht
für dich“
Lamitschka: What kind of songs do you like to record
the most?
Answer: I don’t know… I love to be in the
studio and work on songs.I think it’s the variety of a
whole album that makes the studio work interesting.3
