The 45th Annual Bill Monroe Memorial Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival will be held June 11-18, 2011 at the Bill Monroe Memorial Bluegrass Music Park & Campground in Bean Blossom (Brown County), Indiana.  The 8-day event includes a stellar line-up of over 50 bluegrass bands, Youth Bluegrass Boot Camp, instrument and vocal workshops, jam sessions, camping, food, vendors, and so much more.  Tickets can be purchased by phone (800) 414-4677 or at  at:  www.beanblossom.US
 
The Bill Monroe Music Park will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Bill Monroe’s birth this year including a special live album recording by Rural Rhythm Records with performances by: Lonesome River Band, Russell Moore & III Tyme Out, Lou Reid & Carolina, Audie Blaylock & Redline, Blue Moon Rising, Grasstowne, Brand New Strings, Bobby Osborne & Rocky Top Express, Carolina Road, The Bartley Brothers, Ronnie Reno with Mike Scott, Ricky Wasson, Dwight McCall, and more.  
 
The YOUTH BLUEGRASS BOOT CAMP takes place Sunday, June 12 – Tuesday, June 14, 2011.  The camp is open to ages 6-18 years and offers over 15 hours of professional instruction in all levels, beginner through advanced for Banjo, Guitar, Fiddle, Bass and Mandolin.  The event is sponsored by CIBA, J.D. Monday, June 13, 2011: Kenny and Amanda Smith, Don Stanley & Middle Creek, Larry Gillis Band, David Davis & The Warrior River Boys, Newfound Road, Spinney Brothers, Moron Brothers, and Goldwing Express.
 
Tuesday, June 14, 2011: Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Charlie Sizemore Band, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Carolina Road, Wildwood Valley Boys, Spinney Brothers, Moron Brothers, Remmington Ryde, Magnolia Ramblers, and the Youth Boot Camp performs!
