FOR COUNTRY MUSIC NEWS INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE AND RADIO SHOW

The Best Time of All
You Will Have to Pay
Have I Stayed Away To Long
I Dreamed of a Hillbilly Heaven
Remember the Alamo
The Wayward Wind
Boll Weevil
Green Grow the Lilacs
Beaumont Rag
Fallen Star
Cielito Lindo
These Hands
I’ve Lived a Lot in My Time
High Noon (Do Not Forsake Me)

At first I thought this was just a rerelease of some of Tex Ritter’s best remembered
songs.

I put the needle on as it were (actually I started the mp3) and was surprised at the
clarity and cleanliness of the sound coming out of my speakers.

Reading the liner notes I discovered that these recordings were “made’ more recently
with the help of producer Jim Farrell who took the original recordings of Tex and cleaned
them up and brought them into the 21st Century.

With a true love for the music and and good pair of ears Jim Farrell has presented us
with some very fine “new’ recordings of Tex Ritter.

It is so nice to hear with 21st Century clarity the beauitful and endearing voice of the
great Singing Cowboy, Tex Ritter.

If Tex Ritter was one of your favorites you need to add this CD to your collection.
