Williams Honor – Opening For Neighborhood Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden

Dreams Continue To Come True for Hot New Country Duo Williams Honor

– Opening For Neighborhood Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden –

Every
kid from New Jersey that ever picks up a guitar or opens their mouth to
sing, grows up dreaming about performing at NYC’s iconic Madison Square
Garden. For Asbury Park’s very own Gordon Brown and Reagan Richards,
who make upcountry duo Williams Honor, their dreams continue to come true.

They will be appearing live at NYC’sMadison Square Gardenon Wednesday, May 9th at 7:30PM ET as direct support for hometown heroes Bon Jovi.

“We
are thrilled to walk on one of the world’s most famous stages, opening
for one of the world’s most famous bands that we’ve all grown up with,”
says Brown. “It’s a true Jersey Shore invasion of NYC and I hope NJ
Transit (train and bus service) is prepared.”

Reagan
will be the second member of her family to appear at the famed venue.
Her Grandfather, Pittsburgh boxer, Hugh Haggerty, fought there on two
separate occasions, winning both fights, as well as his division. “I
grew up hearing about my Grandpa (my Mom’s Dad) fighting at MSG. It
feels so surreal to know that I, too, will be performing there, with my
Mom in the audience. That’s pretty special,” says Richards.

Another
honor that they recently received was for Best Music Video this past
weekend at The Asbury Park Music & Film Festival for their debut
single Send It To Me.
The video was directed by George McMorrow of Cinecall Productions who
has been an avid supporter of many of Gordon’s projects through the
years including Asbury Park’s The Wave Gathering and Writers In The Raw.

Brown
continues, “It’s great to be acknowledged for your work and we’re
excited to accept this award from the Film Festival, especially for
George and everything he puts into his work. We think it defines what
the event is all about and truly tells our story. We shot it on location
at many of the legendary venues in Asbury Park and Nashville during CMA
Fest.”

Once
again, Williams Honor is showing the world that Asbury Park isn’t too
far from Nashville. “You can see our story come to life in Send It To Me”
says Richards, “and we’re building the WHArmy brick by brick each day,
traveling across the country visiting radio and opening for our favorite
acts.”

It
has already been quite a ride in the past three years they have been
together. They’ve released two singles to country radio, touring
nationally and visiting radio stations live on-air, hitting the Top
30 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart with their second single No Umbrella(#27).They
were recently asked to “ride” through the streets of their musical
hometown performing their singles on top of the Light of Day float which
won 3rdplace
during the Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Their self-titled
debut album became the only country album ever to have national charting
singles written in Nashville and produced and recorded on the Jersey
Shore. GnR as their fans affectionately call them, are gearing up to
begin writing their second album in Nashville and New Jersey for the
next few months, with Gordon producing once again, recording will take
place simultaneously. A new single is expected sometime in late May.
