2017 GMA Dove Awards To Air Sunday, October 22 at 9/8c on TBN

 

NASHVILLE, Tenn.
Country Music Hall of Famers and five-time GRAMMY winning group, The
Oak Ridge Boys, helped open the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards with 2017
New Artist of the Year, Zach Williams and gospel singer Travis Greene.
The group opened the awards show with a performance of Williams’ #1 hit
and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, “Chain Breaker.”

The Dove Awards, hosted by the Gospel Music Association, recognizes
the Gospel/Christian music community and its variety of styles. This
year, the GMA handed out honors in 39 categories.

A perennial road favorite, the Oaks remain on tour through the end of
the year, kicking off their 28th annual holiday tour on November 14 in
Branson, MO. The 2017 Christmas Celebration tour, which features several
songs from their new album, will take the group to 25 cities and 18
states.
