This very very interesting and well done CD
is the creation of Sandra Lee Krueger who makes her home in Bismarck,
North Dakota.  She wrote these wonderful songs about the return of Jesus
Christ. It’s a very personal testimony.  She sings of the disaster that
faces planet earth, she sings of forgiveness, she sings of love,  she’s
sings of meeting loved ones of the past, she sings of sitting around a
campfire discussing these kind of topics.  It’s a down-to-earth
philosophical observation of the ‘times’ as we know them.  What’s also
kind of interesting to me is that Sandra wrote these songs way back in
1996, 1997, and 2002.  That’s quite a time span back in time, yet each
and every one of these songs are very meaningful in their messages.  I
was very impressed with the backing musicians, Gordon Mote on piano who
made it sound nice and old-timey; Eric Horner on guitar, mandolin,
banjo, and bass (all of them effective and beautiful); Jim Tace on
drums, just right.  Vern and Harold Krueger are the harmony singers that
make each harmony passage so interesting to listen to.  Super nice
album for me to listen to on the Saturday of Easter weekend.  This is a
truly enjoyable recording of down-home honesty, spirituality, and
sincerity.  Nice writing Sandra, and I find it a very nice listening
experience.  I shall forward it to the Rural Roots Music Commission and
see what they might like in this lovely old-time ’round the campfire’
kind of spiritual music.
