Sister Hazel group comes from Gainesville,
Florida.  They can be described as vibrant
band and deeply rooted in folk, pop and blending it with alternative and
southern rock.  It is named after Sister
Hazel Williams, a missionary who ran a homeless shelter.
Regret is such a miserable place to hang
out and you can feel it at some point in the kick off track called “Prettiest
Girl At The Dance.”  It dwells on the way
things could have been and acknowledging the struggles.   It teaches us to use mistakes as a learning
tool and appreciate everyone and everything in the present time.  It empowers us to take some steps forward,
rebound and restructure life.
“Change Your Mind” has a memorable sunshine
melody that serves as the main focus of the track.  Change can be daunting, but starting is
always the hardest part of any journey.
Once you begin to move, you’ll tread on your destined path.  The standard tune is altered by rhythmic beat
into a complex progression as it encourages us to break down the walls, step
into our pure potential, authentic selves and shine our light.
“Something to Believe” is ringing its
midnight chimes.  The new leaf has been
turned over and is starting a new story on a clean page.   It is a solemn purpose put into action while
believing on the unchanging truth that changes us in ways we never dreamed
possible.  It’s like a beautiful diamond
that sparkles and dazzles in the dark.
“This Kind of Love” is a powerful song that
embraces love of another kind.  It’s like
no other.  There are people who say love
never last.  The song says, “This kind of
love it’s what I dreamed about…Yeah it fills me up…Baby it leaves no doubt…This
kind of love it’s why I’m standing here…It’s something that we can share…I
can’t enough of this kind of love…This kind of hope is what I try to find…And
now I can’t deny I believe…And this kind of faith is so unshakeable…It’s
unmistakable…It’s bigger than me.”  This is
a never ending love.  It shows how deeply
God loves us.  This kind of love that captures
our hearts, transformed us by its power and we inevitably respond with grateful
hearts.  The group crafted an album full
of inspiration, an album that can impact listeners.
