It’s What You Don’t
Marcus Lindsey

Hello!  I’m Camo, one of the hosts of Nashville Access. This week’s pick comes from Marcus Lindsey.

We’re going to Texas
again this week for our pick.  “It’s What You Don’t” is the new single
from Dallas-Fort Worth’s Marcus Lindsey.  Marcus came to our attention
last year, with his single, “One Less Fool In Amarillo.”
His self-titled album made it on to my Top 5 Albums of the Year
list—it’s THAT good.
I’ve got to tell you
that, from the first time I heard this album, I was blown away.  It
stands up against anything out there.  The production is solid and the
songs are pure country. “It’s What You Don’t” is a
mid-tempo story about a couple breaking up…and learning that “it ain’t
always what you do, sometimes…it’s what you don’t.”  It fits perfectly
on the album.  Now, it’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the music that
comes out of Texas…so for an album to stand
out for me like this one has sure says something.
Another thing I really like about Marcus Lindsey
is that he celebrates our military and veterans…just check out his
Facebook page and website to see for yourself.  Marcus Lindsey is one
of the hardest-working bands in Texas, so I’m really proud to share them
with you.

Check out “It’s What You Don’t” by Marcus Lindsey.  Trust me!  I hope you like it as much as I do!
