Red Carpet with True Soul at the 22nd Annual ICM Awards

Red
Carpet with True Soul at the 22nd Annual ICM Awards
We’re in Hendersonville, TN, a twenty-five
minute drive northeast of Nashville, at a place sacred in more than one way:
for country music fans it’s sacred because it was Twitty City, the estate of
country superstar Conway Twitty, and now it’s graced by Trinity Music City, owned
by the Christian organization Trinity Broadcasting Network.  Tonight we are there to watch the Red Carpet
arrivals of artists, musicians and dignitaries working to inspire and connect.   We are at the Inspirational Country Music
Association’s ICM Awards gala night.

Team
Dennis Agajanian Ministries. Nominated in the Evangelist of the Year and
Musician of the Year categories.  Dennis
Agajanian has shared the stage with such big names as Ricky Skaggs, Darius
Rucker and Johnny Cash.

Jayne
Carter.  One of the nominees for the
Female Vocalist of the Year Award.

Artist,
Songwriter and Radio Host Lisa Daggs.   After
having a full time ministry for 27 years, she is a nominee in the Living
Legend/Pioneer Award category.

Joy
Roberts with husband Cotton. They’re from Texas and Joy Roberts is nominated
this year for both the Inspirational Song of the Year – with “Let Me Live” –
and Female Vocalist of the Year Awards.

Rodeo
Minister Johnny Rowlett and wife Gale are having a good time walking the red
carpet and being part of ICMA week in Nashville.

The
a cappella group and TV talent show “The Sing Off” season 4 winners Home Free
gave us a pre-view of the closing song “God Bless The USA”.

One
of tonight’s co-hosts Collin Raye, who has 16 Number One Hits, 24 Top Tens and
is currently celebrating his 25 Year Anniversary as a Country Artist.
Country Music News International had as fun
as the prominent red carpet participants and all-in-all, everyone was at the
ICM Awards because of a common desire to share and inspire.
