Colorado Based RFD-TV Show Receives National Feature
in NASH Country Weekly Magazine

 

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 6, 2016)
– Traditional country music fans have plenty to look forward to on
upcoming episodes of the national variety series “The Joey Canyon Show,”
airing on RFD-TV. The program, which is shot
on-location in scenic Denver, Colorado, features the who’s who in music.
Fans who missed these episodes in early 2016 can catch them again

Hosted by Denver’s own Joey Canyon, the show aims to entertain fans
in a location “where the music meets the mountains.” As a traditional
country artist, Canyon has made it his mission to showcase artists that
he loves, while also showing off his homeland on a bigger, national
scale. The Denver Post
took readers inside the studio for the final day of tapings for season
one, which will air later this year. The show is also co-hosted in
season one by country singer/songwriter Dean Miller, who is the son of
country chart-topper Roger Miller. Country Weekly featured Joey Canyon and the show in the April issue of the nationally renowned magazine.

The 30-minute series began airing in January and airs Friday evenings
at 10pm Eastern / 9pm Central. So far this season, the show has
featured artists like Mark Wills, T.G. Sheppard, Wynn Varble, Irlene
Mandrell, Highway 101, Moe Bandy and more.

“The Joey Canyon Show” airs in over 65 million homes nationwide on

T. Graham Brown has recorded over 15 studio albums
and charted more than 28 singles on the Billboard and Gospel charts. Six
of these singles reached Number One and eight more reached the Top Ten.
Brown’s voice is also recognized from his singing in advertising
campaigns for McDonald’s, Disneyland, Almond Joy, Coca Cola, Dodge
Truck, Ford, Hardee’s and many others including the Taco Bell “Run For
The Border” television spots. This past year, his appearance in the
concept video for “Working on A Building” with Marty Raybon, Jimmy
Fortune and Trace Adkins aired across multiple national television
networks. Brown still actively tours throughout the year including
multiple appearances on the legendary Grand Ole Opry and television
appearances such as Larry’s Country Diner and Country’s Family Reunion.
His uniqueness has made him one of the most beloved performers of the
day. The latest album, Forever Changed, garnered T. Graham his very
first Grammy nomination in 2015. Brown has recently been featured on CMT.com, Country Weekly, Billboard and more.

A two-time CMA & ACM Female Vocalist of the Year, Janie Fricke
has hit the #1 spot on the Country charts an astounding 18 times. She
was named Billboard Magazine Top Female Vocalist, was the First Female
Voice on the Moon, and was named the UK’s Country Music Round Up’s Most
Popular International Female Solo Act. Her music has reached Gold and
Platinum sales status worldwide, and the talented and personable Indiana
native has recorded numerous jingles for Coca-Cola, Pizza Hut and
United Airlines. Janie has released 23 albums and 36 hit singles, and
she remains one of the most-beloved entertainers in the Country field.

Rex Allen, Jr. was born in Chicago, IL Singing in
his signature smooth, rich style he had hits with “Goodbye,” “I’m
Gettin’ Good At Missing You (Solitaire),” “Lonely Street,” “Two Less
Lonely People,” “Lonely Street”, “With Love”, “If I Fell in Love With
You”, “It’s Over,” “Drink it Down, Lady,” “Cup of Tea” (a duet with
Margo Smith) and others. He is also the writer and performer of the
alternate state anthem of Arizona, titled “I Love You Arizona.” Rex Jr.
was a regular on The Statler Bros. Show on The Nashville Network in the
1990s, and he hosted, Yesteryear. Following in his father’s footsteps
with his speaking voice, Rex Jr. was the narrator of Jim Carrey movie
Me, Myself And Irene; and writer, director and actor in the stage show
Gone Country, a Las Vegas hit of the late ’90s.

With the release of Sylvia’s second RCA album, JUST SYLVIA,
the single “Nobody” sold two million copies and was #1 on all country
music charts. It was awarded BMI “Song of the Year” for receiving the
most radio airplay in 1983. “Nobody” also reached #13 as a crossover hit
on Billboard’s Top 100 chart and spent a total of 52 weeks on both
charts. Recording for RCA until the end of 1987, Sylvia recorded six
albums and garnered a total of 13 Top Ten and No. 1 songs, selling over 4
million records. In 1982, Sylvia was named “Female Vocalist of the
Year” by the Academy of Country Music and was a Grammy nominee in the
“Best Female Country Vocal Performance” category in 1983. Over an
eight-year period, Sylvia crisscrossed America many times with her
popular concert performances (over 200 per year), and she was a frequent
guest on network television talk shows and specials – from The Today
Show and Good Morning, America to Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, and
the Country Music Awards. Today Sylvia records for her own independent
record label, Red Pony Records and has released three CDs, “The Real
Story” (1996), “Where In The World” (2002), and “A Cradle In Bethlehem”
(2002). She released the single, “Cumberland Rose” written by Craig
