COUNTRY MUSIC POWER HOUSE JASON BLAINE WINS THREE 2016 CMAO AWARDS
TORONTO,ON – The 2016 CMAO Awards for Songwriter of the Year, Music Video of the Year and Male Artist of the Year were
awarded to country music power house Jason Blaine. Blaine led
nominations at this years’ awards show with six nods and brought the
house down with a moving performance of his hit single “Dance With My
Daughter.” The award wins follow the release of Blaine’s album Country Side (2015), which garnered him the Neilsen/BDS most played Canadian country song in 2015 for the title track and a nomination for Record Producer of the Year at the 2015 CCMA Awards.

expectations but it sure feels great to win and be acknowledged by my
industry peers who I respect so much. The best part about winning for me
is having the opportunity to thank the people that helped make it

from Pembroke, Ontario, Blaine has had an incredible career to date
that includes four top 5 singles, fourteen top 10 singles, three #1
videos, multiple SOCAN awards and a CCMA award. This summer, Blaine will
play multiple shows in Canada including opening for Tim McGraw at Boots
and Hearts and for the Rascal Flatts in Halifax.
