TEGAN MARIE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “LUCKY ME” APRIL 8

12 YEAR OLD SINGER-SONGWRITER TEGAN MARIE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “LUCKY ME” APRIL 8

ALL PROCEEDS GO TO KIDS AFFECTED BY THE WATER CRISIS IN HER HOMETOWN OF FLINT, MICHIGAN

Joins Granger Smith For Fundraising Concert April 7
To Benefit Hurley Children’s Hospital
Nashville, Tenn. (April 6, 2016) – 12 year old singer-songwriter and viral country music sensation Tegan Marie has
shown a passion for philanthropy throughout her bright young career;
now, in the wake of the water crisis in her hometown of Flint, Michigan,
this budding young superstar brings her efforts home. On April 7th, she
will join Granger Smith at the Dort Federal Credit Union Center in
Flint for #HelpFlint, a benefit concert for Hurley Children’s Hospital, a
Children’s Miracle Network facility where the kids most affected by the
crisis receive care. The following day (April 8th), Marie will release
her upbeat new single “Lucky Me,” with all proceeds going to Hurley.

“I am donating all of the proceeds of ‘Lucky Me’ because this song is my
love letter to Flint and I just want everyone to be ok,” shares Tegan
Marie.

On the heels of her Flint fundraising work, Marie will embark on a busy
summer of dates, including opening slots for Hunter Hayes and multiple
radio appearances. The charismatic youngster continues to win hearts
(and score online views in the millions) with her pitch-perfect
interpretations of hit songs like Kelsea Ballerini’s “Love Me Like You
Mean It” – which led to her performing the track while being accompanied
on guitar by Ballerini herself. In between tour dates, she keeps busy
writing and recording songs that display a talent far beyond her young
age, as demonstrated in late 2015 with her holiday single “A Christmas
Tree,” which was featured on SiriusXM, Radio Disney, Pandora, and more.

Tegan
Marie was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan, a suburb of Flint, in 2003.
She picked up a guitar at 6, wrote love songs at 8, and was playing
national stages by 11. Her sweet, clean vocals and sensitive
interpretations have tween and teen girls across the nation clamoring
for more, and she was recently discovered by girls media company Sweety
High after she shared her videos on their site. In their words, she is
“your new obsession.”
