Toby Keith Is Above Speed Limit On His Way To New Album Release on October 9

Toby Keith Is Above Speed Limit On His Way To New Album Release
on October 9
Recently honored with an induction into the Songwriter’s
Hall of Fame and on a good roll with his Good Times & Pick Up Lines Tour,
the accelerator is set on full speed ahead for Toby Keith and his new album
release that is set for October 9.
With over 10 dates already played on the Good Times &
Pick Up Lines Tour and close to 25 more to go, everything is going Toby Keith’s
way.  The first teasers from the upcoming
album are “35 MPH Town” -written by Keith and Bobby Pinson – and
“Drunk Americans” – written by Brandy Clark, Bob DiPiero and Shane
McAnally. Both are very cleverly written and despite the seemingly obvious
titles the songs have many dimensions. They describe common grounds and reflect
upon small towns in a broad sense.
The album title is “35 MPH Town” and is being produced by Keith himself along with Bobby Pinson
Besides being a prolific songwriter, perfected performer and
country superstar, Keith also has a foundation that is supporting and sustaining
OK Kids Corral, a home-away-from home for families with kids treated for cancer.
In mid-May, Keith organized a golf tournament for the 12th consecutive year that brought in a record $1.2
million for the Toby Keith Foundation.
